Teachers and students are invited to this Yogic study retreat in the paradise of North Bali
Revealing Wholeness Retreat
Revealing Wholeness is a study retreat for teachers and students alike. This retreat is perfect for those who want to learn more about the subtle aspects of Yoga and the Self to enrich your existing practice or your work with students. We will journey inward through practice, enquiry and lectures on the Panchamaya model. You will gain a deeper understanding of your true nature.
Pancha – meaning five – Maya – All pervading
The mayas are different aspects making up the holistic human entity. These are constantly interacting and influencing our unique manifestation in the world. This teaching encourages a practical exploration of the nature of being, Who Am I? This can support the Yoga journey of an individual practitioner as well as revealing a pathway to work holistically with Yoga students in groups or individual sessions.
Together we will explore the theory and practice of applying the tools of yoga and Ayurveda to support the individual. If you are teaching, yoga private yoga sessions can add a new dimension to your offerings. We are committed to assisting you to build confidence and skills in this area.
In two Yoga classes and two lectures each day, we will explore
- The Pancha Maya model. Unfolding through daily teachings, we see our whole self as well as our connection to all
Basic Vedic chanting – the teaching is structured around a chant designed to open up the exploration - Classes carefully designed to give participants an experience of the panca maya using tools of Yoga including asana, pranayama, chanting and meditation.
For teachers: - Valuing function over form how to design holistic practices for the whole person
- Case studies – workshop style to help you integrate and apply what you are learning.
- Observation skills – assessment of joints, spine, mind and breathing patterns.
