Sisters Kai and Teagan gained their qualifications with Ray of Light. Here they share their journey toward establishing Austinmer Beach House Yoga.
“Studying yoga at Ray Of Light set the perfect foundation for embodying Yoga and Ayurveda holistically and authentically. Rachel’s commitment to creating community and connection is inspiring. Since completing our studies we have set up an intimate, comfortable, boutique style yoga studio at The Grove, Austinmer called Austinmer Beach House Yoga. We love being able to share what we love and serve our community through yoga.
Rachel really ensured we had the perfect toolkit to handle some of the challenges that yoga teachers face, ensuring we feel confident to tackle new things. So far we have been host to two yoga retreats and harmonium and chanting workshops. Plus, we enjoy teaching a number of yoga classes per week in our studio. We were very inspired by all of the guest teachers who shared their knowledge during the yoga teacher training. Between the two of us we have continued our learning with further studies in pre-natal yoga, yoga for trauma, anxiety, depression and body image, kids yoga and yoga therapy.”
