Winter Retreat – Feeling the warmth within!

(Please note that our winter retreat is a weekend away in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley)

 

During Winter the earth’s energy is withdrawn back into herself. It is a time of rest, storing and preparation. We rest from the bounty of the Autumnal harvest and prepare for the vitality of the coming Spring.

This is a time of being grounded, internalised and still. Ayurvedic and yogic perspectives on staying healthy and warm throughout the winter will be shared during this retreat.

Spring Weekend Retreat – New Beginnings!

Friday 6th – Sunday 8th October 2017

 

Spring is the season of renewal and new beginnings, setting roots that sustain us in summer. This spring, let’s commit to sustaining and thriving – through balance, deep breathes and cleansed bodies!

The yoga practice for our Spring retreat will focus on detoxing, the food will be light and cleansing you’ll be given an Ayurvedic menu for a suggested 5 day Spring cleanse.

Please note, that due to popular demand this has become a full weekend retreat.

Summer Day Retreat – Cool down & chill out!

In summer the fire element is high, this can cause us to overheat, to become hot headed and intense.

Our retreat will focus on bringing in the cooling energy with a slow and methodical yoga practice. You’ll be served refreshing light foods cooling you from the inside out.

$150 or $125 early bird if paid one month prior to retreat date.

Autumn can be a beautiful time of deep reflection and shedding. I love it when we look to the seasons and nature for guidance. Join Rachel for a beautiful day of Yoga and Ayurveda with a focus on releasing and letting go.

During Autumn the earth’s energy is dry and mobile, often causing us to become anxious and ungrounded. Using Yogic and Ayurvedic wisdom, we’ll move in the opposite direction with a grounding yet releasing yoga practice, warm nourishing lunch and time to reflect.

About our Seasonal Day Retreats

Each retreat in this series offers a yoga & meditation practice to balance the dominant elements of the specific season. There will be discussion and notes on important lifestyle adjustments and seasonal self-care rituals. Expect to be nourished with a delicious Ayurvedic lunch that is sure to inspire with a take-home recipe.

Our day retreats are perfect for those who can’t commit to a full weekend or those who need a little bit of extra time for themselves. We’ve been facilitating these rejuvenating day retreats for the last few years and feel like each one takes on its own unique flow and direction.

All retreats go from 11am – 3.30pm – Cost $150 or $125 early bird if booked and paid 1 month prior
